EY Expands Centers of Excellence for Neurodiversity in Alberta

Calgary, Alberta, September 20, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — EY Canada is expanding its Neurological Center of Excellence (NCoE) network, opening its sixth center in Calgary, Alberta. Beginning in Philadelphia in 2016, the NCoE model has expanded globally, including a rapidly growing Canadian team spanning across Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City, Halifax, and now Calgary.

The strength-based talent model unlocks the potential of diverse, neural talent pools to integrate advanced business and technology capabilities, with skills including data analytics, blockchain, robotics, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity to help clients overcome some of the most complex business challenges.

The expansion will allow EY Canada to offer a comprehensive neurodiversity model that helps clients build their workforce and meet business demands. The NCoE model has evolved since its inception to provide a unique, comprehensive neurodiversity advisory service that delivers advanced technology capabilities to help organizations better recruit, attach, and develop a diverse neuroscientific workforce.

“We know that other organizations have similar desires to expand inclusion efforts and leverage a diverse team of nerves to address high-demand areas such as intelligent automation and analytics to drive innovation and productivity. Through NCoE, we create supportive work environments that nurture innovation, bring a new dimension to creativity, and stimulate greater diversity, equality and inclusion. In the workplace – both in the company and among our clients.”

  • Anthony Regele, Digital Transformation and Innovation Leader at EY Canada

“We are delighted to welcome EY’s latest investment in Calgary by expanding the Center of Excellence for Neurodiversity. This is not just a vote of confidence in this city and our county, it is a vote of confidence in every individual looking for work. The services provided through this center will help match owners work, employees and strengthening our economy.”

  • His Excellency Mr. Jason Kenny, Prime Minister of Alberta

Invest Alberta has worked with EY Canada to launch Canada’s first financial center of excellence in January 2022, and we’re excited to expand it to include the Neurological Center of Excellence. This expansion demonstrates a commitment to the workforce of the future and to creating more opportunities for Albertans and businesses investing in Alberta. This center of excellence will help Alberta’s diverse workforce innovate to meet the world’s greatest challenges.”
